Sleep: spotty, woke up early,then went back to sleep and overslept.
Breakfast: four egg whites, two eggs, poached. Coffee.
Lunch (on campus): Orange chicken, lo main.
Weirdness: set out for the gym around 5. Stopped to get the magic smoothie. Drank it and started to crash so fast, I deliberately drove past the gym entrance and went home. Feel asleep for two, maybe three hours. Only explanation I can think of is that something made me very angry earlier in the day, and it took about an hour or maybe 90 minutes before things were resolved. I think the adrenaline spike may have been a factor.
Gym: 3 sets of 10 min. each on rower/1 mile fast walking between sets (2 mile total). Would have walked another, but they closed the gym at 10.
Dinner: salad with chicken.
Adrenaline can definitely be a factor. There was a time about 1.5yrs ago where I got into a bike accident on my way to the gym. Skid for a good number of feet on a wet road, and gave myself a pretty bad scrape up one leg. Got to the gym, had a great workout for the first half hour or so, then things started going downhill. The adrenaline rush wore off. Hah.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you still made it in later that day though. Solid rowing times too. Now let's make sure that you're getting through at least 2km in each of those sets.
