Sleep: Okay
Stress: Depressed and anxious.
Diet: Shouldn't have had that muffin. Forced myself to eat a lot of beet for dinner in hopes of energy tomorrow.
8 p.m. is a terrible time to go to the gym. At least 3 guys on every single piece of equipment.
Stretched, then did ham curls (3 sets of 8 @ 50 lbs., not perfect). Went upstairs which was even worse, so ditched the weights for the rowing machines.
Same old: 5 min on / .5 mile fast walk / 5 min. on / fast walk.
P., way back, asked for 10-20 minutes on the rowing machine. I've done 10 before, I should be able to do it again. Must try harder. Today, oddly, it wasn't my back that gave out, but my forearms that were sore. From which exercise, I wonder. Nothing comes to mind at the moment.
I have to admit I like fast walking. Long stride, a final push off the ground with the calves (remembered from an old article in Strength and Health, circa 1968) really stretches every muscle in the leg. But I still don't know why I don't have the wind for running.
10 minutes on the stairmaster, calorie burning program instead of the fat burning program. What the heck's the difference? Higher climbs for shorter intervals, it seems.
By then, my hour of paid parking was about up, so I left.
