Exercises I Actually Like

Sleep: 4:30-9:30 (switched from bed to air mattress and back during that time.)

Feel stiff, but nothing is sore or painful this morning.

Lunch: Don't ask. (Fast food).

Sleep: 5-8 p.m. Woke up more tired then when I lay down. Anxious dreams.

Soaked in hot bath, drank 16 oz. milk and coffee base with 2 scoops whey. No other dinner (still full from junk lunch). Tiger balm on left shoulder.

Gym 9:30-10:30. An effing zoo on the weight floor.

Rowing machine: 3 sets. 3 minutes/3 minutes/4 minutes.
Fast walk between sets (long stride, quad stretch forward, push off with calf on back), total 10 times around track. Running just wasn't in me.

Abs: 2 sets of 20 leg/knee ups. Whatever you call 'ems.

Observations: A busy gym gives me lots of distractions, so I watched people go buy and doing stuff on other floors and across the room, while maintaining posture and rhythm but not watching the timer on the rowing machine. Wonder if that helped increase duration.

Back still seizes up on right side when rowing or walking. Not too bad tonight though.

Other observations: most girls run with a twist at the waist from side to side. No guy does. Possibly involuntary. How much of a twist seems to depend on the counter weight(s). Just an observation! One girl who must have run miles while I was there also kicked out sideways from the ankles with each step. That can't be a good thing. Guys stayed still with the torso, whether they pumped their arms or not. Most ran with that stride that I'm supposed to, that I can see in my mind's eye, but that I can't make my legs and feet do yet. But I am thinking that running would feel much better if this excess stomach fat was gone (speaking of counterweight). Anyway, enough idle speculation...
