Exercises I Actually Like

Sunday, February 6, 2011

Okay, so I went to the grocery store to pick up supplies for the week. My intent was to purchase PROTEIN, and I did. But I also bought a small box of cookies. I mean, hey, it had the words "natural" on it about 12 times. To be fair, it had a very low percentage of sugar and the ingredients were natural. Still, very calorie-dense. I thought: "How can I make this a less bad thing I'm doing here?" So I filled a very large glass with milk and drank it down. Milk and cookies, what could be better? I almost felt virtuous.

Will try not to do anything like that again for at least a week.

In other resolutions: I will make daily notes about pain, in addition to sleep, diet, stress and exercise. It's probably going to sound a little whine-y, but I'm 57 and there's rarely a day that something doesn't hurt. (I was gonna say "there's rarely a day that something isn't stiff," but I figured that was just an opening for a cheap joke.) So painful, or just weird. Like waking up because both of my arms are asleep, which happened again this morning. Don't think it means anything, but I'll note it just the same. Otherwise, same aches I've been writing about recently.
